Though a sad story ... Gaunt does really need to live with the consequences of the actions he took. I would find it far more amusing to read of his desire for revenge on the man who robbed him for example. Re your new trader ... its not that much money really ... if your chap has compatible philosophical aspirations I'm sure Jericho might agree some terms of start-up loan. All the best regardless.
